MONEY

Where does the Money Go?

Marketing, fundraising, advocacy, PR and brand development are services we provide to our photographers at no cost through our London based “Community Interest Company”, Majority World CIC. We aim to fund these activities through fund raising, sponsorship, licensing of the brand, donations and membership schemes. Any profits made will be ploughed back into supporting and promoting majority world photographers.

majorityworld.com takes a commission from the sales of images which goes directly to cover the operating costs of our photo library including hosting and distribution services at a low cost. In addition, the photo library aims to provide other services such as basic training, print and negative scanning, and captioning and keywording input to photographers who may need extra help.

Photographers receive a net revenue figure at least as good as the norm for international photo agencies, in addition to all the other added value support services described above.
